Fitting the motorsport roof. Fairly straightforward. I modified it slightly by trimming out a couple of panels to save weight. Bonding the outer skin to the inner requires lots of weight and lots of clamps!!

fuel tank complete
This exceptionally well made. Really happy with the fabrication work on it. Doing so much of this build myself can make it difficult to let go of control on certain aspects to others, due to the risk of mistakes. This is an example of where it is best to leave it to the seasoned professionals though, the guys that have rightly earned their reputations and only get trade through word-of-mouth.
Needless to say it fits perfectly. Just need to sort out my fuel level sender before I can fit it for the final time...

front splitter
Been a bit lax with the updates recently, but only because I have been working so hard on the car itself that I haven't had the time to post!
I have built a front splitter from 12mm hardboard ply. This is supported from the crash box structure with 4 tie bars.
Onto the splitter I have mounted the engine oil cooler on the RHS and I plan to mount the battery on the LHS. This is an attempt to get the remaining weight distribution as far forwards as possible to try and balance what has been added at the back.
More updates shortly. Fuel tank and exhaust can have arrived!!
